Frequently asked questions

Who are these recipe and photo sets for?

My recipe and photo sets are created for business customers such as food bloggers, content creators, and online brands. They are licensed for commercial use in your own business, not for personal, non‑business use.

Do you create and photograph the recipes yourself?

Yes! All recipes are developed, tested, and photographed by me in my own kitchen here in the Netherlands.
Each recipe is tested multiple times to ensure it’s reliable, easy to follow, and delivers consistent results your readers can trust. While I draw inspiration from my global travels, cookbooks, and culinary trends, every recipe is uniquely crafted and checked for originality through Copyscape.

Are your recipes suitable for American and international readers?

Absolutely. All recipes are written in both U.S. customary and metric measurements and use clear, neutral American English.
The ingredients I use are generally easy to find internationally. Occasionally, I may use specific branded products that are available in (at least) the U.S.

What do I receive after purchase?

After purchase, you will receive a complete, ready-to-use recipe including an ingredient list (US + metric), step-by-step instructions, personal notes for the blogger, and of course high-resolution images.
Everything is delivered digitally, so you can start using the content right away.

Do you include keyword research or SEO data?

I research keyword difficulty and competition during development to ensure the recipes perform well online. However, I do not include specific SEO reports in the final delivery. This gives you full flexibility to position, title, and optimize the content to perfectly match your blog's specific audience and SEO strategy.

Are the recipe sets exclusive?

Yes! Every recipe and photo set in my shop is 100% exclusive. Once a set is purchased, it is marked as sold out and will never be resold to another blogger. You receive exclusive, full ownership to the content.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the digital and exclusive nature of these products, all sales are final and refunds are not offered.
That said, I want you to be genuinely happy with your purchase. If you ever have any questions or run into an issue with the recipe or the photos, please reach out to me at chantalrooth@icloud.com and I'll do my best to make it right.
Because I regularly work as a flight attendant, please allow up to 24 hours for a response.

Do you work with other bloggers or brands?

Yes, I love collaborating! Whether you need custom vegetarian or vegan recipe development, high-end food photography, or fresh recreations of your existing content, I am happy to help. Please reach out via my contact form to discuss your project.

How does VAT or sales tax work?

Because my business is based in the European Union, I’m required to charge Value Added Tax (VAT) on orders from customers whose billing address is in an EU member state. For these EU customers, VAT is calculated automatically at the applicable Dutch rate and is shown at checkout and on your invoice. Customers outside the EU (for example in the US or Canada) don’t pay EU VAT on their orders, but local sales taxes might still apply in their country. If you live outside the EU, please check with your accountant or tax advisor to understand your own tax rights and obligations.

Do you transfer copyright?

Yes! When you purchase, you receive full copyright ownership of the recipe, images, and copy. To make this legally binding under law, a Copyright Assignment Agreement is automatically executed when you check the agreement box before checkout. As part of this agreement, you grant Chantal Rooth Photography a non-exclusive right to continue using the images from the set for portfolio, marketing, and self-promotional purposes. This ensures you get full ownership of the content while allowing me to showcase my work as a photographer.

Can I transfer this license if I sell my blog in the future?

Yes! Since you receive full copyright ownership through this transfer, you are completely free to transfer these rights to a new owner if you ever decide to sell your entire blog, website, or brand.
